Dr. Alex Planes, DDS
Founder & CEO
Dr. Alex Planes achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and completed his residency at Columbia University. Continually passionate about ongoing education, he went on to train at Augusta University to become certified in the State of Florida for conscious sedation.
Dr. Planes is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has also achieved Mastership status from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Planes developed an interest in dentistry as a child – he made his foray into the industry as a dental technician when he was just 12! – and has always been focused on helping people. He loves treating patients of all ages and comfort levels and is devoted to creating environments that put people at ease. Highly experienced in all areas of general dentistry, Dr. Planes is particularly passionate about providing diligent and effective restorative, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry services.
Meet Dr. Karl Wiese, DDS
Lead Dentist
Dr. Karl Wiese comes from a family of dentists and was mentored by his grandfather, whom he worked with for over 20 years. Dr. Wiese attended Columbia University’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, where he received early recognition from his director. He was then given a position on the board of advisors for Columbia University’s Dental program.
